Hasttags are incredibly important in the social realm of internet marketing, but I’ve started to wonder what they would do to more traditional SEO.  So I was hoping when I found this article on Google that it would be filled with data, graphs, charts and conclusions, but in reality this article is more of a quick update sprinkled with some opinions.

Fresh off the presses Microsoft has invested $15 Million in Foursquare and this article is asking why?  When it comes to SEO how does Foursquare change the game?  Well if SEO is moving towards a focus on Local SERP than Foursquare will play a big role.  So even though this is more of a news piece it does offer some nuggets to think about.
