How to Add a CTA Button to Multi Product Ads Using Power Editor

I found something interesting while optimizing a client’s account… Testing everything under the sun including multi-unit (product) ads. I did some research to see if others have found this bug/glitch or whatever you’d like to call it and found nothing. I know Facebook has this functionality available for API users, but so far they do not allow Power Editor users the ability to add CTA buttons to their multi-unit ads.
In all honesty, it’s fairly simple to add a CTA button to your multi-unit ad.
Step 1: Create a standard single image ad and select your desired CTA button.
Step 2: Change from ‘Ad with an image or video’ to ‘Ad with multiple images in a carousel’
Step 3: Fill in the rest of the multi-unit ad criteria and enjoy the higher CTR with the CTA buttons!
Boy, I really want to Shop Now for some tasty tea!
Again, not sure if this is a bug or intended. If you know, please share in the comments below.
If this helped you, please feel free to leave a comment!
