Six Reasons to Fire Your SEO Agency

By Neil Patel

Now when I saw this title I was taken aback because it just seems taboo to talk about firing an SEO company.  Usually we see article on how to hire a SEO company, not fire them!  Well after reading this article it’s really a checklist to make sure your agency is doing what it should be.  It’s almost like a guide to improving your company, and I have to be honest there was at least one thing I know our agency can improve upon based on this list.  Give this a read through it was surprisingly insightful.

Pros:

– Company Markers for Improvement

– Think about an Agency from a Client’s perspective

Cons:
– I can’t think of anything bad, it was actually really good!

4 Reasons Why You Should Combine SEO and PR Strategies

By Jonathan Long

The line between PR and SEO has blurred over recent years, and some of the best SEO work I’ve seen didn’t come from traditional SEO agencies, but PR firms.  Since that day I’ve had to sit back and ask the questions why are PR firms doing so good at SEO where traditional SEO firms are having trouble?  The conclusion I’ve come to long ago is that an SEO agency combined with a PR firm would take over the web.  So I’ve been on the look out for articles that help explain PR strategies in order to find the next best step to improve my own SEO skills.  Unfortunately this article skims through the strategies in such a way that I was left wanting more.  I didn’t feel satisfied and in fact I don’t know if I ever will.

Pros:

– PR strategies explained for SEO

– Explains the direction SEO is taking

Cons:
– Doesn’t really explain how to implement these PR strategies

Overall: Skim It
