A number of months ago GetListed.org was purchased by SEOMoz, now called Moz and sent ripples through the internet marketing community. GetListed.org was the industry standard for creating and monitoring your local listings, and giving you the tools needed to develop a good local SEO strategy. Now that Moz owns GetListed they’ve changed it to MozLocal which has changed a few things. At first glance I was a little disappointed with the new format, but having this FAQ guide is helpful.

Gender Bias in Online Marketing: Data Shows Women Are Undervalued by 21%
Not really a marketing technique or strategy piece, but interesting none-the-less. I’ve noticed that this industry attracts just as many women as men and therefore you would think since women helped shaped this industry that there wouldn’t be a bias, right? Well according to some research done by Larry Kim over at WordStream that’s incorrect. Using some in-house data over at WordStream Kim found that there might be a bias concerning clients interacting with their client service rep. It’s an interesting read and if you’re like me and believe in equality you’ll find this a worthy read.
